Attendees can anticipate an immersive educational experience while they journey throughout 3 unique property locations at the Temecula Creek Inn. Our educational theme is Lights. Camera. Impact.: Illuminating opportunities. Visualizing outcomes. Taking action. Get ready to explore sustainability through photos and videos. When you arrive and throughout the event, take photos of the sustainable event elements you experience and get ready to learn how you can use this simple tool to include and elevate sustainability at events.

Hear from expert sustainability consultant, Chief Change Agent, Dr. Aurora Dawn Benton, on ideas and tips to immediately apply to your events, venues, and business.
Dr. Benton is a passionate and dynamic speaker & consultant specializing in sustainability strategy. She has worked in a variety of industries (retail, software, financial services) and most recently spent 7 years in hospitality education, teaching and designing programs for executives and students, in the U.S. and internationally.

We look forward to welcoming the Iverson Foundation back to SITE SoCal! They were one amazing Charity Partner recipients of the fundraising at the 2019 Holiday Event & Charity Gala! We will hear updates from Ashley Iverson and learn how this donation helped their mission, as well as how we can continue to support them moving forward.
On December 14, 2017, Cory Iverson, a Fire Apparatus Engineer for CAL FIRE paid the ultimate sacrifice while battling the Thomas Fire in Ventura County, California. He was survived by his wife, Ashley, their daughter Evie, and – at the time – their unborn daughter Taylor.
Ashley had spent more than half her life battling severe anxiety and depression largely in part from PTSD due to nearly losing her home at the age of 13 from arson and also from an inner need to help others on a large scale. Just one month prior to Cory’s passing, a colleague took his own life leaving behind a young child and wife. It was then that Cory understood the gravity of mental health and the devastation it can leave behind in its wake.
In founding the Iverson Foundation for Active Awareness (IFAA), Ashley is able to keep Cory’s memory alive for their daughters and to continue on Cory’s legacy through his sacrifice to help all first responders; those that selflessly help others on a daily basis.
