For our SITE SoCal March Event we are partnering with Rock to Recovery, a 501c3 founded December 12, 2012 in Orange County, CA. Rock to Recovery helps people heal and transform their lives through the powerful experience of writing, playing, and performing music as a group. Their program improves the lives and treatment outcomes for veterans, mental health, and addiction patients, at-risk youth, and those with other challenges. Rock to Recovery has proven success with individuals with trauma, traumatic brain injury, physical limitations, and psychiatric problems.

March is Brain Injury Awareness Month, which shines a light on understanding how Brain Injury impacts the patient and their loved one’s life. Brain injury is unpredictable in its consequences and can change everything about us in a matter of seconds. Those who have sustained a brain injury can develop mental health concerns. Rock to Recovery does programs specifically for this audience and we are excited to support them during this important month.

Can you imagine your event without music? Without a live entertainer? Without walk-on music for your presenters? By supporting Rock to Recovery, we are also supporting musicians who inspire us in both our professional and personal lives. Music evokes emotion, takes you back to a memory, gets us through our workouts, music is medicine in so many areas of our lives.
